Theme: Integrating Technology in Blended Learning: Transforming the Traditional Modes of Teaching and Learning in the Post-Covid Era

Dr Dinesh Kumar Srinivasan is an Associate Professor and co-chairs the Integration Lead Educators’ cluster at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He graduated in Medicine from Government Stanley Medical College, Chennai and obtained his MS and PhD degrees from the National University of Singapore. Subsequently, he completed his Postdoctoral Fellowship in Molecular Cardiology at the renowned Cleveland Clinic & Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, United States. He has both medical education and basic science research interests. These include augmented reality for anatomical education, diabetes, congenital heart defects, tissue engineering and device innovations. He is an experienced teacher and actively involved in the development of modules as well as curricula for medical students at National University of Singapore.  He has acquired several research grants and published over 50 publications in peer-reviewed international journals including Nature, JBC and Diabetologia.  He is an editor or member of editorial boards of 5 international scientific journals.  He was awarded the distinguished long service award medal for his contributions to education by Ministry of Education, Singapore in 2015.
